Locks with Extra High Security

In order to have a high security level system with High Security Locks you need key control.

Key control is mostly about how easily key blanks can be obtained, which is important when considering key duplication and the production of bump keys.

Easily obtainable blanks or blanks that many locksmiths have access to can make it much easier to get a key duplicated or a bump key for the system made.

While no key is 100% perfect, most quality, high security locks go through extensive measures to ensure that real blanks are not easy for just anyone to obtain.

• Lowest level key control - the blanks are readily available. For security, you don’t want to have that type of system.

• Middle level key control – Some local exclusivity. Only one dealer has access to the blanks.

• Highest level key control - The factory is the only source for key blanks
